SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICES (SES):

People Inc. is providing FREE aafter-school tutoring in Reading through Supplemental Educational Services to students in the Buffalo City School District. This tutoring service is available to students receiving a free or reduced-price lunch who attend eligible schools. Tutoring instruction will be provided in a small group (two students to one tutor) or individualized (one student to one tutor). Each student will receive two, one-hour sessions of tutoring per week. Bilingual tutors are available. The goal for the tutoring program is to strengthen each student’s reading skills and increase his/her academic performance and self-confidence.
