These four facilities are home to nearly 30 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including many who have complex medical needs that require daily monitoring and support. The new generators will ensure that critical systems and medical equipment continue to operate during power outages.

President and CEO Anne McCaffrey. “This funding allows us to make important upgrades that protect the health and safety of 30 residents with disabilities in Monroe County. Reliable emergency systems are essential to meeting their daily medical needs.”

Several residents rely on multiple medications, including some that must be refrigerated. Oxygen and CPAP equipment are also in use at the sites, making reliable backup power essential to the health and safety of the people living in the facilities.
