Susan Mancuso

Chief Financial Officer

Susan Mancuso is People Inc.’s Chief Financial Officer. She has more than 30 years of experience working in financial management in nonprofit agencies. Susan came to People Inc. in 1995 and held various roles within the Business Office before being promoted to CFO in 2024. In this role, she is responsible for all aspects of financial management of the agency and its affiliates.     

As an advocate for people with disabilities, Susan has gained valuable experience through her involvement on committees both at People Inc. and in the community. A past member of the People Inc. Peer Review Panel, she currently serves as a mentor in the People Inc. Succession Management Program, as well as a member of the People Inc Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Team. Susan is a 2019 Graduate of the Leadership Buffalo People Inc. Essentials Program. 

Susan served as a member of the Board of Directors and Home School Association for St. Christopher School as well as Hearts and Hands, and as President of the NYS Financial Managers Association. She currently holds the position of Conference Chair for the Annual NYS Financial Managers Conference. In addition, she is a member of the Developmental Disabilities Alliance of WNY Finance Committee and partners on various projects with the Rate Setting Team at the state Office for People With Developmental Disabilities.

Susan received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the State University of New York College at Fredonia and her Master of Science Degree from the State University of New York College at Buffalo. She received the State University of New York College at Buffalo Award of Excellence in 2015 for writing her thesis on Lifelong Learning.

Susan resides in North Tonawanda with her family.
