We provide a welcoming environment for all community members, collaborate with local resettlement agencies, and
are a proud founding member of the National Deaf Refugee Provider Coalition (NDRPC).
Our program offers a unique opportunity for Deaf refugees & immigrants in the Western New York and Rochester
areas to learn and work alongside other local Deaf refugees and immigrants, community members, staff and
volunteers.
Our goal is to see Deaf refugees & immigrants gain the knowledge necessary to:
- Navigate all aspects of life in America
- Secure gainful employment
- Live independently
- Successfully obtain driver’s license and complete citizenship
What Our Class Offers
In our classroom, people from all around the world come together and support each other while learning and socializing. Learning opportunities include:

- Life Skills – Rent, shopping, transportation, accessing medical services, connecting with legal representation
- Navigating Western New York and Rochester
- Learning to drive
- Studying for citizenship testing
