First Annual Buffalo Chili Fest 2010

Calling All Chefs and Chili Connoisseurs to Compete for Buffalo's Best Chili

BUFFALO, N.Y., April 11, 2010-Web Art Designs has partnered with People Inc. for the first annual Buffalo Chili Fest to be held April 11, 2010 from 2-6 pm at D'Arcy McGee's Irish Pub. The event will be held rain or shine.

The event will feature chili samples from some of the area's finest chef's and restaurants. There will be live music from the band November 11th, giveaways, prizes and of course, chili. The occasion is family-friendly and will have performances by Kids on the Block, an educational puppet company which uses live puppet theatre to educate children.

The cook-off is open to all local restaurants and chefs with original recipes. The vendor fee is $100.00 and will reserve a spot the day of the event, provides use of electricity, and supplies bowls and spoons for the patrons. All varieties of chili can be entered including chili con carne, with beans, vegetarian, or other variations. The chili will be sampled through ticket purchases which can be redeemed, by the vendor, for cash at the end of the event. Awards and the title "Best Chili in Western New York" will be determined by majority rule and scored by the people in attendance.

Admission is $5 and the entire amount is donated to People Inc. All attendees will be given a gift pack with valuable coupons along with a score card to select their favorite recipe. Tickets for chili samples will be sold for $5 for 5 tickets. Plenty of Free parking will be available.

Please note that patrons will not be allowed to bring any beverages or food items to the event. Refreshments of all kinds will be available for purchase throughout the day by D'Arcy McGee's.
