John and Glenn, lifelong friends who attend the Day Hab Programming at the Hertel Art Studio, put the finishing touches on their paintings for the upcoming exhibit.

Featured artists (to date) are Robert Banach, Chaz Buscaglia, Bill Egan, Langston Gardner, Erich Haneberg, John, Alex Kowal, Richard Koh, Robert Lewis, Stacey Mania, Glenn Martin, Christian Mattina, and Daniel Maysonet.

Shaunna Mooney, director of marketing and events at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, shared "We are thrilled to welcome the artists of People Inc.’s ArtsWork program to show off their magnificent artwork to our community. It is always such a wonderful opportunity to partner with organizations that celebrate the diversity of not only the people in our community but also the diversity of art and what it means as a form of expression and interpretation. I am excited for our visitors to connect with and celebrate this exhibit."

ArtsWork artists have exhibited extensively throughout Western New York and beyond, including the Outsider Art Fair NYC, the Castellani Museum of Niagara University, Daemen College Center for the Arts Gallery, University of Toledo Center for the Arts, the Erie Art Museum, CEPA Gallery and Big Orbit Project Space in Buffalo, as well as galleries in Toronto, Canada, and Pittsburgh PA, among many others. They have achieved numerous solo shows, recognitions, and awards for their work.

The exhibit, housed in the Arcangel Gallery located in the center of the conservatory, is included with regular admission to the Botanical Gardens. Admission is $18 for Adults, $16 for Seniors and Students, $9.50 for kids ages 3-12, and kids under 2 are free.
