Frank Azzarelli Joins Senior Obama Administration Officials for Health Care Technology DiscussionPeople Inc. is pleased to share that Associate Vice President Frank Azzarelli was recommended by the Department of Health and Human Services in Washington by the Director of HEALTHeLINK™ to take part in a discussion on Healthcare and Information Technology. This appointment is due to Azzarelli’s participation in the Elmwood Health Center’s electronic health record (EHR) process and his work with HEALTHeLINK™.

And while we are talking about the Museum of disABILITY History, be sure to check out its new website at www.museumofdisability.org. The development of the new website was made possible by the generous support of the B. Thomas Golisano Foundation. The new website features visitor information and news, virtual exhibits and extensive educational resources relating to disABILITY History. Visitors will also have the ability to shop the Museum’s online store, become a member or make a donation to support the Museum’s programs and exhibits.

Graduation Success at Young Adult Life TransitionsThe students from People Inc.’s Young Adult Life Transitions (YALT) program at Daemen College look forward to graduation each year. It is a time to feel both happiness and sadness. We are happy for the students who have been successful in their four years at the Daemen YALT program and wish them well in their future endeavors.
This year, as part of the end of the year event, the students planned a limo ride from the college to the Water Street Landing restaurant in Lewiston, NY for lunch. Everyone had such a great time that the students stated that they would like to make this into an annual event.
“The graduation was a lot of fun with all of my friends,” said Doug Szafranski. “It was nice to see so many Daemen College staff and students in attendance at the graduation. My friend Kevin gave a very nice speech. I will miss YALT and all of my friends that I made these four years.”
“Graduation was a lot of fun,” said Emily Reinhart. “It was amazing that so many friends from Daemen College and the YMCA came to our graduation ceremony. I made many friends on campus and will always remember them.”
