People are talking about the "War and disABILITY” Exhibit – new video
Time is running out to see the Museum of disABILITY History's newest exhibit, "War and disABILITY." It focuses on the social perception, care and treatment of veterans who are disabled throughout history. See what Judge Robert Russell from the Veterans Court, and Steve Banko, WNY’s most decorated Vietnam Veteran have to say about it.

The exhibit examines the American military and disability experience in terms of medical and military technology, legislation regarding veterans, the psychiatric effects of combat, pop-culture and disability, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, traumatic brain injury and the contributions of individuals with disabilities in times of national need.

Visit the exhibit at the Museum of disABILITY History, a project of People Inc., at 3826 Main Street in Buffalo until December 31, 2011. The exhibit will be available for businesses, schools, colleges and other organizations to rent for events and displays. For more information or to schedule a group tour, call 716.629.3626.
