People Inc. Needs Your Help!
Microsoft Store Grand Opening and Support People Inc. Event
People Inc. has been selected to partner with Microsoft for a generous software grant! As part of the relationship, we want to help welcome them to Buffalo with the opening of their new Microsoft Store at the Walden Galleria Mall. People Inc. supporters are encouraged to attend, wearing People Inc. logo wear, to the grand opening on Saturday, November 16, 2013. If we can get 100 or more supporters to show up, People Inc. can be awarded $5,000 in Microsoft hardware! Please check out the new store and help us win some much needed technology! And if that wasn’t enough – if you attend the grand opening as part of the official People Inc. Team, you will be entered to win tickets to an exclusive Kelly Clarkson concert at the Burt Flickinger Center (Erie Community College, Buffalo Campus) at 7 p.m. that same evening! People Inc.’s Culinary Program Tours DiCamillo’s Bakery
People Inc.’s Culinary Program recently toured DiCamillo’s Bakery and factory at their location on 811 Linwood Avenue in Niagara Falls, NY. It was an opportunity for the individuals involved in the program to learn more about the baking and culinary field. With the help of HEALTHeLINK and the Beacon Project, People Inc.’s Elmwood Health Center is a recent recipient of the 2013 Allscripts Outcomes Excellence Award: Connectivity. Allscripts, which has developed innovative solutions to enhance quality metrics and improve patient outcomes, recognizes hospital and physician group practices that have adopted their methods. In 2010, the Elmwood Health Center implemented Allscripts as its Electronic Health Records (EHR), and within one short year, it reached Patient-Centered Medical Home Level 3 Status.
