Dialogues on disABILITY Speaker Series Featuring: Char-Szabo Perricelli – “Her Inside Voice” – Photography of J N Adam Developmental Center

As part of its Dialogues on disABILITY Speaker Series, the Museum of disABILITY History is excited to welcome artist and photographer, Char Szabo-Perricelli. The artist will host a candid Q& A, as well as a presentation that will focus on architecture and the ability of photography to preserve and uphold the integrity of historic structures. Szabo-Perricelli will also share observations on the JN Adam Developmental Center, as well as her reflections on social attitudes towards people with disabilities.

Many events are happening this fall season at the Museum of disABILITY History so mark your calendars! All events are held at the Museum (unless otherwise noted):
- Saturday, October 12, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.: Annual disABILITIES Film Festival and Speaker Series featuring the movie, Inclusion: The Joy of Drumming. Reception and speaker from 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the Museum of disABILITY History. Movies at Dipson Amherst Theatre, 3500 Main Street, Buffalo.
- Monday, October 14, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.: “Columbus Day is Kids Day": The free family event will include: a Therapy Obstacle Course, Quest Scavenger Hunt, Kids on the Block of WNY performance, family puppet theater, the movie Dolphin Tale at 1 pm. and pizza at noon.
- Saturday, October 19 , 11 a.m.: Dialogues on disABILITY Speaker Series – Author Michael Wehmeyer will present on his book, “Good Blood, Bad Blood.”
