Rivershore Foundation Annual Gala to Benefit Individuals Living with Disabilities

When: Thursday, October 6, from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m.

Where: Niagara Falls Country Club, 505 Mountain View Drive, Lewiston, NY

About: The Rivershore Foundation will host its Annual Gala Dinner on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at the Niagara Falls Country Club, 505 Mountain View Drive, Lewiston. The event includes a cocktail reception, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, awards ceremony, silent auction and basket raffle.

Joseph A. Ruffolo, president and CEO of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, will serve as the honorary chairperson of this event. Maryalice Demler of WGRZ-TV Channel 2 will serve as the emcee.

The evening’s entertainment will be performed by Artisan’s Edge, a group of supremely talented artists living with disabilities, supported by Rivershore since 2011. Artisan’s Edge includes musicians, vocalists, actors, painters, sculptors, potters and mixed media artists. The artists have received many impressive awards, including placing on three separate occasions at the renowned Lewiston Art Festival, and won First Place and Best in Show at the NYSACRA Art show in Albany. Artisan’s Edge is truly a celebration of art created in an atmosphere of encouragement and excitement.

Tickets are $100 per person or tables of eight at $700, which must be purchased or reserved by October 4. To purchase tickets or for more information, contact Denise Pollock at 716.524.2266, ext. 234. All proceeds from the event will benefit Rivershore’s programs and services.

Founded in 1980, Rivershore provides residential services, life planning services, day services, support with self-advocacy and volunteer pursuits, along with Artisan’s Edge, an art and cultural program.
